What Can God Do In 44 Hours?
We rejoice over another incredible season of Winter Camps in New York, Florida, Ohio, and California! These 44-hour weekends have become extraordinary places where lives are changed, hearts are renewed, and the gospel is proclaimed with boldness and clarity.
Our Winter Camps—Snowcamp, Pursuit Camp, and Intersect Camp—welcome teenagers and young adults from all walks of life. Over the course of the weekend, campers experience new friendships, meaningful conversations, tons of fun, and powerful gospel messages.
From the moment they step off the bus, campers are welcomed by counselors who have prayed for them long before they arrived. Throughout the weekend, they encounter the presence of God and a community of believers passionately committed to helping them take their next step with Jesus.
Three Camper Testimonies
Pursuit Camp
At Pursuit Camp, a young man was invited by a former staff member who had been praying for him for years to come to Christ. For two straight years, his friend had written his name on the prayer board, trusting God to work in his life. This year, at Pursuit Camp, those prayers were answered—he trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior. Before he left, he wrote down the name of someone he wants to share Christ with, continuing the ripple effect of the gospel.
Intersect California
At Intersect California, two young girls who had recently lost their mother initially gave up their spots at camp, feeling overwhelmed by their grief. But just before camp began, their youth leader encouraged them to come, believing it would be a much-needed time of healing. On the first night, when the gospel was shared, both girls trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior. It was a powerful reminder of how God meets us in our deepest pain and brings new life.
Snowcamp
At Snowcamp, a young woman who had made a salvation decision the previous year returned with lingering doubts about God’s love for her. When she stood up during an invitation, her youth leader immediately went to her side. Through tears, the leader explained the fullness of the gospel, and other students wept alongside her, showing her that she was truly loved. Though her name wasn’t counted in the salvation decisions, her heart was softened toward a deeper relationship with God.
These stories are just a glimpse of the incredible work God did through Winter Camps this year. He is faithful, and His work in the lives of these students will continue far beyond the camp experience.
