A Month of God’s Work in the Philippines
In the bustling heart of the Philippines, God’s hand is moving mightily through the efforts of the Word of Life Bible Institute and Laguna Campsite. Over the past month, they’ve witnessed firsthand how the Lord orchestrates His ministry, using us as vessels to accomplish His work.
WOLBI Eternity Week: Bringing Light to Bondoc Peninsula
From March 16–22, the Word of Life Bible Institute team embarked on a mission they had fervently prayed for – Eternity Week in Bondoc Peninsula, Quezon Province. This weeklong ministry is a beacon of hope in unreached areas, where Bible Institute students and Word of Life Philippines staff completely immerse themselves in sharing the gospel. From homes to schools to churches, they spread out everywhere to serve and introduce Christ to communities yearning for truth. The results were astounding!
- 1,824: Individuals heard the gospel.
- 464: People made salvation decisions.
- 3,257: Tracts distributed.
- 2,120: Copies of the Gospel of John & Gideon Bible distributed.
The impact of Eternity Week extends beyond mere numbers; it’s a pivotal and life-changing experience for a Bible Institute student. Through one-on-one and open-air evangelism, basketball ministries, and puppet shows, students are equipped and empowered to share the good news effectively.
We rejoice in witnessing these students being used by God, culminating in their commitment to continue advancing God’s Kingdom and spreading the gospel far beyond the confines of the Bible Institute.
WOLBI Weekend Ministry: Empowering Students for Evangelism
As part of their training and in preparation for Eternity Week, WOLBI students engage in weekend evangelism. Just weeks before Eternity Week, they visited Christ-Centered Community Bible Church in Calamba, impacting 450 souls with the message of salvation.
This ministry update is a testament to God’s faithfulness and the dedication of their students. From fervent prayers to tangible results, the work in the Philippines shows the power of God’s love and the transformative impact of His gospel.
