In an exciting development for 2024, Word of Life Fellowship is pleased to announce the launch of “Messengers,” a groundbreaking monthly donor program designed to foster deeper engagement and create lasting impact. This initiative supports Word of Life’s ongoing vision to see every young person take their next step with Jesus.  

An Innovative Approach to Giving

At the heart of the Messengers program is an all-new donor impact hub crafted to enhance the experience of monthly recurring donors. This digital platform will provide donors an intuitive and personal way to engage with their giving. Highlights of the program include: 

• Access to exclusive, behind-the-scenes content showcasing the real-life impact of donations. 
• A dedicated community space for donors featuring stories of change and new opportunities to connect with the Word of Life family. 
• An improved giving experience that is streamlined to make donations effortless and stress free. 

The Power of Monthly Giving 

Chip Nightingale, Vice President of Advancement at Word of Life, emphasizes the importance of monthly donations. “Monthly recurring donors are vital to our mission. They help us maintain a consistent and reliable source of funding, allowing us to focus more on our programs and less on fundraising,” he explains.  

The consistent support from monthly donors is not just a financial cornerstone, but it also fosters a stronger connection with the organization’s goals. As part of the program, donors will get to see how their generosity is making an impact in the lives of young people at Word of Life camps, Bible colleges, and youth ministries around the world. 

A Community of Messengers 

The choice of the name “Messengers” for the monthly donor program is significant. It reflects the vision to create a community of individuals united in spreading the good news and making a positive difference in the lives of youth and families. As Messengers, donors become active participants in a shared mission, echoing the partnership in the gospel described in Paul’s letter to the Philippians: 

“I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now.” 

– Philippians 1:3–5
